Invitations and Questions to Ponder
“The Lord of the vineyard and his servants repeatedly ask, ‘What more can I do?’” Why do you think Elder Gong used the example of the vineyard and this quote as he spoke about ministering? How can you use the principles you find in your answer to improve your own ministering?
Have I fallen into the “ministering gap” that Elder Gong mentions? How am I inspired as I study this lesson? Is the Holy Spirit bringing individuals and ideas to mind? (Write those down.) If you are getting general ideas, when will you schedule time to prayerfully set SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound) goals?
What specific counsel did Elder Gong give about balance and ministering? How can I know if I am giving too little or too much? If the Holy Spirit whispers that my ministering is out of balance, when will I begin a prayerful journey to put things back into balance?
